Springly is my free shawl to celebrate the arrival of Spring! The design has been inspired by the yarns themselves.
These lovely skeins were gifted to me by Justina from “Feliz and Punto” who hand dyes her own yarns and converts them to treasure!
The most magnificent part of the shawl is that it is very easy to knit without be checking the chart all the time, as you only need to memorize the very first stitches of 8 rows. In the pattern you will also find a link to a video where I show you how to knit it.
To give the final measurements you can repeat the established pattern as many times you want!
The gauge is not important, which means that you can knit it with the yarn of any weight.
This is a shawl that has a lot of texture! If you think that mohair is too warm for summer, then replace it with another color of yarn, a contrast one and play with the colors! Or use different type of yarns (of the same weight).
