Arte Shawl

“Arte” is the shawl I designed specially for the 1st Knit Festival of Sevilla, “Sevilla Teje 2022” that will be happening the first weekend of April 2022. The moment I heard about the festival, I knew exactly what I would design…a lacy shawl with macramé fringes! A shawl that would perfectly fit to a flamenco dancer!

Sevilla is a city of art! Her monuments, her history, her dances, her flamenco…You can see art everywhere! This shawl is named after this. “Arte” means art. And it is an ART for ALL OF US that we can create with our own hands so beautiful and unique garments!

“Arte” es el chal que diseñé especialmente para el 1er Festival de Punto de Sevilla, “Sevilla Teje 2022”, que tendrá lugar el primer fin de semana de abril de 2022. En cuanto me enteré del festival, supe exactamente lo que iba a diseñar… ¡un chal de encaje con flecos de macramé! ¡Un chal que le quedaría perfecto a una bailarina de flamenco!

Sevilla es una ciudad de arte. Sus monumentos, su historia, sus bailes, su flamenco… El arte se ve en todas partes. Este chal es todo ese nombre ¡Y es un ARTE para TODOS nosotros que podemos crear con nuestras propias manos prendas tan bonitas y únicas!

Cantidad de hilo necesaria
90 gramos de hilo de algodón (sin flecos)
140 gramos de hilo de peso de digitación con flecos incluidos

Técnicas que se pueden emplear: Forma de media luna semicircular, aumentos, disminuciones, ojales, encaje, bordes de liguero, remate súper elástico de Jeny y flecos de MACRAMÉ.
