Springly is a lovely shawl that I had created on Spring 2022 to celebrate the arrival of Spring!
These lovely skeins were gifted to me by Justina from “Feliz and Punto” who hand dyes her own yarns and converts them to treasure! You can have a look here.
The design has been inspired by the yarns themselves.
I remember visiting Justina´s booth, seeing these 2 yarn beauties and falling directly in love!
I decided to offer this pattern for free in order to thank all the knitters that keep buying my designs and to give a chance to those that don’t, to see my pattern style.
Springly is definitely one of the shawls that I enjoy covering myself when the nights of Spring and Summer get a bit more cold!
The most magnificent part of the shawl is that it is very easy to knit without be checking the chart all the time, as you only need to memorize the very first stitches of 8 rows. In the pattern you will also find a link to a video where I show you how to knit it.
To give the final measurements you can repeat the established pattern as many times you want! The gauge is not important, which means that you can knit it with the yarn of any weight.
This is a shawl that has a lot of texture!
If you think that mohair is too warm for summer, then replace it with another color of yarn, a contrast one and play with the colors! Or use different type of yarns (of the same weight)!
Although it has Spring notes in it, it is an amazing pattern to knit and wear also on Autumn and Winter as it is very soft and depending on the yarn, also warm!
Springly Pattern available in English and Spanish!
